Hi Experts,
CPU-Z shows QPI Link=3420 while P6T Deluxe V2 BIOS set at 8310.
i7 920 OC 3.99/CPU Volts=4.0/3Gb Mushkin 7-8-7-20.
Why does CPU-Z show 3420?

Because a i7 920 is not able to run that QPI speed and there is a formula involved with the BIOS

I know how busy you are, so thanks for checking in.
If I understand you correctly, the BIOS setting is in error and CPU-Z is correct.
