Need to get something straight first...

Hi again,

After running into problems with Vista 64, I've just re-installed my system drive with XP Pro 64-bit and have done all the updates.

Before I install flightsim (and while I carry out Nicks' list of tweaks), am I right in thinking I should install FS and my add-ons to a seperate drive from the OS?

Thanks,

Stuart

Thats what I did and it works great! I have my OS and non FSX stuff on my 1 tb drive and FSX is on a 500 gb.

Yes - put FSX on it's own drive for best operation. I also run XP64 and have OS on 1 drive and FSX on it's own.

Thanks Guys,

I'll do that then.

Will I have to run the registry repair tool to allow my add-ons to find the executable then as well?
