Actually, first attempt at any kind of overclocking.
It can't be this easy with the 920, can it?
All I did was go into the BIOS and change these settings:
Ai Overclock Tuner from Auto to Manual
CPU Ratio Setting from Auto to 20
BCLK Frequency from Auto to 200
DRAM Frequency from 1600 to 1603
UCLK Frequency from 3200 to 3208
(The DRAM and UCLK Frequencies went up when the BCLK Frequency was raised. I then reset them to the new values.)
This is on an Asus P6T Deluxe, Core i7 920, Mushkin 7-8-7-20 at 1600. Cooling is a Thermalright Ultra Extreme 120 (new model, using fan it came with.) Case is a Coolermaster HAF.
Ran OCCT for 10 minutes to see what the temps were like.
