Hi Nick -

System developed some instabilities and not wanting to screw around any longer I ordered the Corsair 1800 DDR3 8-8-8-24 4G kit.

Should I reset all the skews I put in for the Mushkin DDR3 ( and voltage) prior to installing the Corsair?

Any other settings I should be aware of?

Also ordered a GTX 280 OC2 - might as well get it out of the way.

It's my " I like me " present for Christmas!  :)

Just FSX right? not OCCT?

If so you did verify that 180.48 driver update was not giving you any greif I assume.. seems to be a hit or a miss driver for some reason

at that point skew was the next step with perhaps a touch more VTT


Check the House of Help Forums for those sticks and the Rampage but I bet they run just fine on the same settings just leave GTL's on auto... I would check there first and see if Corsair has listed anything special for them

They were pretty strait forward when I used them

They may or may not run 1T but you may need to run them at their max of 2.0v. They should run PL7 though, no problem

Yes - it was stable for a while but started acting up. Then I started getting errors in OCCT with the custom test.

The 180.48' seem ok - get same errors with 174.74's.

Just decidedI'd like to spend more time flying and less tweaking.
