O&O Defrag Professional 11 & 8.6 Problem

Hey guys!,I'm just wondering has anyone purchased and used the new O&O Defrag V11?,I myself have just purchased it and are trying out the defrag process NickN recommends,just wondering though have they fixed the issues from v10 in this new version?

Also another issue is I currently have v8.6 installed and when I open O&O Defrag v8.6 I cannot use the program and I get a message saying: NETWORK ERROR OR WARNING OCCURED

The connection to O&O Defrag Agent could not be established,Possibly,the O&O Defrag service has not been started.You can start it manually using the Windows Services Management.

No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. (10061)

Any ideas?

I've been using 8.6 for some time, and per Nick's instructions it works perfect....but I DO have the same issue all of a sudden, it wont start when I click..I need to start it manually, which is no big deal. Maybe I possibly "turned it off" some how in the services menu. I also figure that it can't hurt to leave it as such.....just my two cents. ;)

I already posted I have no idea about O&O 11

as for why that is happening.. did you install v11? if so v8 probably wont work becuse 11 has taken over

Nope...no ver11....no need.

Using 8.6 per doc's orders.... ;)

I guess I could reinstall, but it's no big deal to start when needed.
