I was wondering if it's recommended to let nTune optimize your system on its own?

Umm, nTune is a way of saying "we just voided your warranty".

Use rivatuner.

And no, it isn't recommended, and I guarantee if you go to a site like nvnews the first thing they'll say is "ewww" xD.

Yeah, use rivatuner, no ntune

Now for the stupid question.... :D

What's the difference between the two....and will I gain any added performance from using rivatuner?

Been using nTune to slightly o/c my card, so that's about the extent of it.....

RivaTuner gives a more in depth OC experience. you can control just about anything and everything. Core clock, shader clock, memory clock. not to mention all the DX tweaks that you can play with ;D

I had rivatuner to try and change my fan speeds as Speedfan just couldn't do it!

However, I don't think it was changing them.
