Overclocking my Nvidia 6200

I got FSX a couple months ago and have been tweaking everything in sight ever since
. However, I just thought about overclocking my graphics card, and possibly my CPU. I used coolbits to try and overclock my Nvidia GeForce 6200. It's the PCI version with 128 MB of memory
. Every time I would move up the core clock or the memory speed up at all, I would hit the Test button, but when I would hit apply, my computer would freeze. I shut it down, and when it came back up it said the system had recovered from a serious error
. So I decided to try to use the "Detect Optimal Frequencies" function. Hit the button, I got to about the last block of the test sequence thing and then it shut down-came back up, same result as manual overclocking
. Any suggestions :-??
Also, I would really like to try and overclock my processor as well, but how would I do that? I have an HP computer with an Intel Celeron D Processor running at 2.52 GHz, with 1 G of RAM, running Windows XP, if that helps. Not sure about the motherboard.
While I'm at it, I might as well ask if anybody knows of any better PCI cards than what I have? I know there isn't much room for improvement on a PCI slot, but might as well ask. My budget is flexible, but preferably under $200. My 6200 runs @ 350 Mhz core clock, and 400 Mhz memory clock.
