Hi Guys
I need help with the Rivatuner I would like to overclock my radeon ati 9600xt but I do not want to burn it out .I have never played with anything like this before so I dont want to do any damage just up my memory clock a bit if possible. Does anyone know what a safe setting would be and how i go about putting it into action. I am doing this for some improvement on my fs9 while I wait for my new card after christmas the  Radeon x1950pro.
cheers Flyingbartdude

There is no "safe" settings that everyone can use, since everyone will get different results. You increase the speed in small incriments, monitor temperature, and look for artifacts. Keep in mind that the temperature is measured for the GPU, and not for the memory, so you can fry your memory while running at acceptable temperatures.

Question...why are you using Rivatuner on a ATI card?  I could have sworn that Rivatuner was for Nvidia cards only?  :-?

...but I can't get the thing to work right for me either on my 7800.  ;D
