Well I needed deeper than that sorry hehe. What brand of motherboard? I can help you overclock and a search of google will bring up tutorials but I don't want to help you fry your system. So motherboard, cooling and is it a brandname or custom built

i know that gigabyte motherboards give you nice little programs on stuff like this. i just got an 64 +3200 2.0ghz, and i can click it to 2.5ghz, thats 15% overclock.

programs called easytune5 for gigabyte motherboards.

Programs are not the way to overclock. You overclock from BIOS. There are some exceptions to this, but you'll need a better understanding of your hardware and how it works anyway, or you could end up damaging your PC.

What Chipset do you have?

What CPU core do you have?

What is your CPU multiplier?

What is your Front Side Bus speed?

What exactly is your RAM, it's speed, CAS latency and basic timings set at?

I already know most of these things about your PC. You need to do some homework first and find out what you have and how it works.

You also need to become familiar and confident in changing BIOS settings, this is an area where the wrong parameters can cause boot failure.

You need to know how to reset your PC from the mainboard's CLEAR CMOS jumper and to be able to re-enter all the system parameters.

Start googling up some overclocking sites and get ready for some heady reading.

By the time you understand overclocking, you will, in effect, become a system builder.

Good Luck   ;)
