Postby M.R.Maiornikov » Sat Dec 24, 2005 8:54 pm

Hi guys recently i purchased a 2500$ computer and was hoping to get killer graphics on it. But to my dissapointment, i don't see them. Some members of this forum posts killer screenshots (not edited) and i was wondering what shoul i edit to get the same quality:

My system:

AMD athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core processor 3800+  2.01Ghz
2GB od RAM
120GB HD
NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT 256mb video card.(88.12 driver installed-latest)

Please help, as i'm very sad now :(

Turn everything to max, except MIP Mapping and thats that.... FS defualt isnt exactly fantastic looking, I suggest payware such as Flight environment for clouds, FS Genesis for Mesh and Bill Lyons Water textures. As for the rest, its the FS Engine itself.... Cheers! Hope this can be of some help, Gunny

EDIT: post some screenshots in the forums and let us see what it looks like.... and if need be I can send you shots of what my FS looked like before and after a graphics upgrade!

Sorry about it being in windowed mode, My Power supply is on its edge and wont run FS Propperly full screen, but the add ons are, Flight environment, Ultimate terrain USA, FS atmosphere, and FS Genesis. Freeware is Bill lyons water textures, and muddy rivers and streams (If the mods feel it should, please move this post) Cheers, Gunny!

I would recommend silver wings.  It will update all your scenery and it will look amazing, you also have the system to run it well! ;)

Second one down.

Then get FS skyworld 2004. Probably flightsim will be the best place for that.  Then set-up all your clouds etc.  Your sim will look stunning after that. ;)
