But when I add the folders in the C drive: Program Files, Documents and Settings, Windows...ect the Total comes to 8.66GB, >:(

There are no i hidden folders directly in the C drive.

Start> Control Panel> System> Advanced(on the tabs at the top> (Under Performance) Settings> Advanced (tab at top)> (Virtual memory) Change

Set custom size.  I recommend 2560 subtract your system RAM and set the initial and maximum size to that value.

For example i have 1024MB RAM (1GB) so i do 2560-1024 gives me 1536MB.

Hope this helps!  ;)

I don't think that's the problem because my virtual memory maximum is set to 1.5GB...

Any other ideas?

It is more than likely a combination of VM and System Restore. System Restore keeps its regular data storage in the System Volume Information folder of the root directory. You cannot access that folder without knowing Bill Gates stupid Network secret, which is to right click it and under sharing, allow it to be a shared resource TWICE. It will refuse the first request and allow the second.... thats the secret. Once it is a shared resource you can see what is in it and how much space it is consuming.

I always shut down system restore from both System properties and the services msc.
