Need help udating my nvidia graphics drivers

Postby PlutonianEmpire » Sat Dec 10, 2005 2:17 pm

I'm on the nvidia downloads page to download a graphics driver, but I don't know which one to choose. ???

My current computer is a Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop with a 60 gig hd, 256 meg ram, 1400 megahertz processor with a speed of 1.37 gigahertz, and a Nvidia GeForce FX Go5200 graphics driver.

Well, I asked because someone suggested that the reason my FS9 screen went blank before fs9.exe failed and had to shut down was probably a graphics thingy.

If you are running XP with 256 meg od ram you need look no further for your problem. 256 MB is barely enough to run XP.

I would seriously think about a memory upgrade before you do anything else.

If your laptop does not have a plug in video card the ram has to handle all of the graphics plus the OS and any programs you have running.
