Good luck with them. Apparently there's a bug in them that messes with your temp sensor, so look out for it.

They are BETA remember tho!

Can't say i didn't warn you. They do have the Microsoft certificate (So they say).

To qualify what I mean by BETA, I quote a site:

After an initial round of in-house testing, software publishers often release new programs to be tested by the public. These pre-release versions are called beta software, usually denoted by a "b" in the version number, e.g., Netscape Navigator 2.0b5. Since the publisher couldn't possibly test the software under all possible conditions, it is reasonable to expect that wider use of the software may uncover problems that were not discovered during in-house testing. The publisher expects to be notified when users find such problems so that the program can be fixed before its official release.

Ok? All it is is the temparature sensor, so they should be worth a try. I'm going to.
Dan ;)

I generally don't download beta drivers.

Mainly because i have no compatiblity problems and any performence increase they have don't really affect me.

Yeah it does make the blue appear a little blurry  8)

I have been trying some forceware drivers recently.  All of them have been a little glitchey though in one way or another.  One thing none of the ones I tried had was the 'Refresh Rates Override' option on my graphics control panel.

This option is very important to me as its the only place to properly set the Hz your monitor is running at, i.e. I had the 71.81's installed and the option mentioned above was not available.  I set all other bits that I could at 75Hz thus my monitor whould be running at 75Hz.  Well started up COD and FPS topped out at 60 so I knew it wasn't working.  There are also some glitches when trying to multitask whilst playing FS too.

Back to the latest official ones in the refresh overides bit next to 1600x1200 I have it set at 75Hz and hey presto COD tops out at 75 (Well it just sits at 75 and doesnt drop either  8))

For me the best ones, and ones without glithces in, are the latest official ones.  I think I will stick to these from now on.

Yeah, It was RivaTuner that was keeping my refresh rate down! In XP it was 75, and In my drivers, but not there!!
I was OC'ing a little, and It seemed to keep wigging out a teeny bit. So I've had to reset defaults and I've stressed it (Prime 95) and it seems fine again. 3DMark01'd at 18752.

Trust me when I say SLi is far from immortal. In fact, fs2004 can bring my SLi down to its knees when i have everything at the highest (including af and aa and resolution) and then decide to install lots of payware and high res landscapes.

And thats only fs2004. You should see doom3 in 16 by 12 res with 16 x fsaa and 8x AA in ultra mode and when i spawn many monsters (like 20) in a room and use the console to enable bumpmapping on everything and then turn the flashlight on.

I'm actually trying to figure out ways of bringing to its knees. So far, no good though.
