What gives wimme score?

I've just tested in 3DMark01 after tweaking my card, and I was expecting a reasonably high score 'cos of the FPS i was getting. Heres the detailed results:



Shouldn't it be higher than that, with those results?
Opinions please!

and I thought you said you had your monitor set at 75Hz?

Well for a start your monitor is set at 60Hz and in your grapchics setting V-sync is either enabled or on application-controlled.  This limits all FPS to 60! hence a naff score.  Set V-sync to OFF then re-run your test.  Also you might need to go into the Refresh rates override bit, select your res and set it at 75Hz coz at the moment you are not running at 75Hz.

Ummm... Ok. V sync, yeah thats set, but I'm sure that Im set at 75Hz, at least in windows. It must be between RivaTuner and windows. I don't know which takes priority. Thanks Gix, I'll try and sort it.

Turn Vsync back on and run it again.  If your frames all come out at a max of 60FPS then its at 60Hz trust me.

Thats how I know your monitor isnt at 75Hz.  If it were the FPS would have all been 75 not 60!!

well, It could be soemthing to do with RivaTuner, I found an option in there. I might try it with Vert Sync againg, to find out like!! At the mo Im battling artifacts at 16/6, so I'm down at 16/5 again. ithink thats as high as it'll go. No damage as far as I know. Lucky!!  :o  8)
