I have found that by weekly running "spybot search and destroy" and "adware 6" that my PC generally performs faster and better.

meh, just destroying their fingers won't be enough...

Now I say we nail their testicles to the floor of a wooden shack in the middle of nowhere...

(Rusty nails of course...)

Place a rusty phillips screwdriver and a dull hack-saw just out of reach...

Light the place on fire.. (About five minutes later...)



edit: I too us Spybots, but I use the SBC yahoo dsl special spyware removal tool...;-)

I was skeptical about a free d/l provided by the service that I'm using, but it does seem to work much better than most out there..

Why it even got rid of a hijacker that spybots couldn't shake..:-)

yeah, it would be nice to rid us of those Ad software programmers.

I use McaFee, which built in to it's virus scan is a "potentially unwanted program" search. i've rid myself of 24 sypware programs, and my computer does run faster.

(now searches for rusty nails ad screwdrivers)
