Hi guys i have a radeon 9200 and my problem is when i see far there is alot of slashing textures and there is some kind of fog that covers the detail of those textures.
So if someone uses this vidcard please help me. Also if its not too hard, can the radeon 9200 users post their settings.
Also my question is, will radeon 9800 will improuve the graphics of FS2004 on m pc?

Could you post a screeny of what you are seeing please?
And yes a 9800 will improve things visually in FS2004. You should be able to make things a bit more detailed. Are you sure your Athlon XP is 1.4Ghz? Didn't know they did one that low?? wouldn't hurt if your cpu was a bit faster too, about Athlon XP3000 would be nice the XP3200 better still though you would need new ram as its 400FSB.

A 9800 would help, but then also consider that the CPU and memory may also be bottlenecking your performence.
BTW, could you be more specific as to your problem.

well, as I see it there are 3 things wrong with your system in relationship to fs9. You vid card, your processor, and too little ram. Heck, my PC is almost twice as fast as yours and I have a lot newer card and I can't max things even. You need more ram. I'm running 768 and FS9 wants even more. If you can't upgrade your processor definatley get a better bid card. I would go to a radeon 9600 ot nvidia 5700 at least. And, buy as much ram as you can afford and always make sure you have as many background things shut down as possible. I'm not really in much of a position to advise because as I said with the card I have and the processor I have I shouldn't be having any compromises but i believe my problem is I need another 256-512 meg of ram and I should probably chuck the 60 gig 5200 rpm used maxtor hard drive I have to. That I'm sure would help quite a bit. Those are the two weak links in my system.
