Tweaks for solving lag threw clouds

Postby DomSQ » Mon Nov 05, 2007 7:18 pm

Hello everyone,I received my new system a few days ago and as you can see it's powerful, and when running FS9 the FPS is 30+ locked at 30 so it runs very smooth for the majority of the flight,it's only when climbing threw the clouds or flying near them that I get slight stutters for 2 secs then it's smooth again, and that continues, but when I'm below or above the clouds it's smooth as it could be.

Based on my PC specs in my sig could someone maybe possibly give me a tweak or anything to solve this little problem,it'd be much appreciated.

Dom

Closing unnecessary processes in your task manager/ setting FS9 priority to High may help a bit. ;)

Thanks PD,I have closed all unnecessary processes in my task manager, only have FS9 active no other program, also what do you mean by setting FS9 priority to high?

It might be me just being picky, because I'm sure alot of people get some slight stutters, and don't bother with it.

Right click on fs9.exe process in task manager, then go set priority and click high  ;)
