This is my first mod, my sn45g game server used at lans:

list of mods:

LEDS
replaced front LEDS with 5mm 7000mcd red
each side has a red and orange 3mmm led highlighting a component
the rear fan is illuminated with a red and orange led which wouldn't capture on the crap camera I have in anyway so I haven't shown it.

cutting
Rear honey comb mesh removed
psu fan frill removed

other
red thumb screws
new front panel picture
120mm nexus fan
120mm grill

this pic shows the rear of the shuttle, I had to take it with flash as the camera wouldn't focus without it :( so the awsome glowing light effect isn't showing:

big thanks to all the people that helped me with this mod:
peter
my dad
the people on bit-tech who advised on LEDs

Heres a night photo, sorry about the quality I have a crap camera:

Not a bad shuttle mod. I like the pink thumbscrews (sorry just had to  :P). But seriously the only criticism I have is that it would look much better in green or blue. Personally I find red a wee bit too bright. Oh ya, and you should definately slap a BAWLS sticker ontop ;)

Cheers
Cameron

PS: If you really want to see some cool stuff check out Kustom PC's Photo Gallery These guys really take it up a step, and their forums are invaluable for modding advice. But beware, once you start you just cant stop.

the pink thumb screws show are a nod to the shuttles slightyl strange name"pinkynut".  The name came from a smoothwall box I used to run.  When myself and peter were setting up the smoothwall box he just quickly found the most pathetic name (sorry hana!) on my msn contacts list and used it as the smoothwall boxes name.  As the smoothwall box never worked (I must be the only person who had two sperate 10/100mbs NICs that are incompatible with smooth wall!) the name was passed onto the shuttle.
*takes a deep breath*

Green and blue :P this is a hardcore (all be it female)  game server.. it has to look brooding and menecing in a dark lan hall  :-*

thanks for the kustom pcs link I never rearlised the SFF pics had become so expansive since my last vists.
