Anyone playing Silent Hunter III Grey WolvesX 3?
I have some texture probs (see pics)

I've been all over screen resolutions, AA settings, compatible and you name it!

I know there is a fix for widescreen, but that is no problem.

The sim is setup to run at 1024 x 800, my screen is 1920 x 1080, but no matter when i change resolutions, i get the same result.

Any hints or fix from you? :-?

Hehe...
Maybe i'm getting too much a feinschmecker ::)
But i think the AA settings could be approved, exp when turning wievs. Then it shows a lot of artifacts!
Well, i'll try to dig into nvidia control again.

What Sub do you use in the bath, and how many torpedoes ::) ;D

apart from the txture over the cranes I can't see anything wrong with it.

Wish I could play on mine, it refuses to update on win7 64bit.

Not played it for several years.
May the Mynd be with you.
So far my number of landings either passenger or pilot equal my number of takeoffs.

Strange. I'm running win7 64.
What error do you get?

You need to have the .bin files and the .exe in one folder. Run .exe and point it to your fresh installed SH3 v1.4b. Remember to delete any previous SH3 folder in program and documents before installing.

Hi,

I'd forgotten I'd replied here, I can't remember the error, it was when running the 1.4b update which fails not the wolf pack addon which i haven't tried on the win7 at all
ran/runs  fine on my xp32 bit pc which i rarely use now.

I'll look at it again over weekend if poss, ages since I've played pc games online, I'll dig the disc out and let you know what it said,  been thrashing ps3 since about May time, mainly sniper elite V2, gt5, Dirt and ghost warrior.
May the Mynd be with you.
