Dambusters video

Postby RickG » Thu Jul 01, 2010 1:49 pm

Hi. Hope this is some kinda software issue. I just downloaded the new  "Tribute to the Dambusters" video from here, and it is an AVI file, which won't work on my pc. All I get are swirling colors. Anybody know what I need to do to watch this video? Thanks.

Cause it's made my Micro$oft?! ;D

Nahh, you just need a codec. No idea which one though.

Try one of these:
http://www.divx.com/en/software/divx-plus/codec-pack
(Usually works with most .avi)

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/window ... video.aspx
(Also, works with most)

OR (my personal favorite) the "every codec included media player" found here:
http://www.altools.com/ALTools/ALShow.aspx

All of the above are free, and more importantly SAFE. (I have all three installed.)
