and YES ,FSX Runs without any Tweak in FSX.CFG very fine and faster than ever,with asinotropic and antiasilasing mode of the game 20fmps,which in XP used to be at 12-8-6 fmps

Things like this should be claim too (not just the bad things),also because Microsoft made the worst

I have Vista and I do not really like it.

For day to day, average usage, without requiring anything fancy, is there any advantage in changing from Windows XP Pro, to Windows 7 Home Edition?

....and is Win 7 "Pro", and Win 7 "Ultimate" really desirable?

Bearing in mind the cost of the "upgrade?"

By the time XP pro becomes useless, you will have been in the ground for quite a while Paul.

Windows 7 is just Vista with all of the crap removed.

I am not so sure about this Shane :-/ ,there's more, it looks indded like VISTA,...BUT it runs faster ,I feel like there has to be a diferent main Kernel system operational has being change and even its NTFS system feels like if there were something diferent in the partition itself

It's faster than Vista, because all of the problem causing mess was removed.

I'm personally looking forward to trying out 7,  I tried Vista on my dad's computer and didn't like it, but everyone who has 7, loves it. I'm sure I will too.

Use Windows 7 here.... love it! The UI is awesome, and it's much easier to use over XP. Probably the biggest difference I have noticed is DX10 and the much better UI, over Windows XP.
