I have been using my favourite Mozilla Firefox Browser for many years....

...up until now... ...!

For the past number of Months I have been plagued by the dreaded "msvcr80.dll" errors constantly shutting the Firefox Browser down whilst I am in the middle of something!.... ...!

The Web pages are littered with frustrated Firefox Users complaining about this annoying error affecting the Browser whilst it is attempting to open the Page... ...!
I have reinstalled both old and new versions of Firefox, and still the error occurrs!

Re-installed both older and newer versions of Firefox...

At the moment I am just getting used to the layout of the latest version of Internet Explorer (V8)...no problems with that... ...!

...a bit of an update whilst I remember....

I have Disabled my following Add-ons:

AVG Safe Search.
AVG Security Toolbar.
Java Quick Starter.
Noscript. (for Java).

I have left Enabled the following:

Adblock Plus.
British English Dictionary.
Google Toolbar for Firefox.

..and so far, all is well, and no more msvcr80.dll errors... ...!

So, it looks as though certain Firefox "Add-ons" only, are causing the problem, which is why the problem doesn't occur in my other Browsers!
