FlightPro Sim

Postby hhomebrewer » Mon Sep 28, 2009 12:52 pm

I stumbled upon this sim while looking for a training sim for flying RC airplanes. Anybody ever heard of it? It's cheap at just $47 for the starter sim and $67 for the whole-world scenery. Very interesting. I wonder if the scenery looks like FS9/FSX, or if it's like what you see in Google Earth?

Doesn't look that great and the VC's are atrocious.  More like FS2002 or even CFS2.

There are no full size, hi-res, screenshots, which means they were probably counting on the small size to make detail look better,

Anytime someone lists a price as being marked down 3 increments ($97.00 $67.00 $47.00), it smacks of an infomercial.

Then you have to buy additional scenery (ADD JUST $167.00 $97.00 $67.00) to get all of the airports they advertise?

I think I'll have to pass on this one...  ::)

FlightGear is a freebie, ain't it? If someone is trying to sell freeware, they is lookin' ats legal trouble, right?

WARNING!!

Flight Pro Sim  IS  FlightGear!!

it appears some morally-impaired ppl have packaged it and are selling it as a commercial game

DO NOT BE FOOLED! FlightGear is a freeware open-source project supported by the community

there is a reason why the two look so similar -- ITS THE SAME SIM!
i believe this is a case of "freeware piracy" and if isn
