Wideview, Teamspeak, and IVAO Software

Postby BSW727 » Wed Nov 25, 2009 6:59 am

I didn't know where to post this, so if it's out of place please feel free to move to the appropriate forum.

For those running a Wideview network for multiple views and are, or will be flying on the IVAO network, the IVAP software and Teamspeak runs just fine on a client system.

The downside is that radios have to be tuned from the client machine. If you have hardware it's no big deal. Just plug them into the client along with the transponder.

There is also the fact that you cannot see any traffic except on the client machine.

At least you will have ATC and they can see you on radar.

I thought on the newest version of Wideview it took care of that issue of not showing traffic?

No, but I believe there is another program offered by him that takes care of synching traffic over the network. I still have to look into that, but I've been enjoying flying on-line again so much I haven't had the time to investigate.

I think it's called WideTraffic.
