Windows Explorer will not retain settings
Posted: Fri Aug 28, 2009 9:32 amI always set my view in WE to details and in the past whenever I start WE any folder that I have set to details comes up in details.
Lately everything gets changed and keeps coming up in tiles. How do I get this to stop and start coming up in details again?
I do have "Remember Each Folders View Settings" checked in Tools/Folder Options/View tab.
Once I set everything back to details it is okay for awhile and then it switches, if seems that most of the time when it switches it is after I have inserted a USB memory device, but I do think that at times it just switches without any reason.
