Another how to Nhancer question?

I apologize for another Nhancer related question but I've searched around and could not find any answers to my problem!

After installing the new Nvidia drivers 185 and the most recent Nhancer including .Net frames 3.5 I can not figure out the reason I have some many "jaggies" in my display while running FS9? I have tried a few versions of Nhancer with both of my 9800's and now with just one and it makes no difference!

I have used Nick's wonderful step by step process on how to set it all up and in the end it looks the same....

The only thing that I can see a problem, might be that my settings in Nhancer are not...for some reason ::), doing anything in the Sim! Perhaps it's the way I set it up? But made a shadow profile and pointed to the FS9.EXE which I did with ACM 2.5 and it worked for that program?

here's a small example of what's going on....

As you can see from the images they are not smooth at all....

I would really appreciate if anyone can help me out with this, I've been trying to fix this for a few months and have run out of ideas.

FS2004, NVidia 9800GT, Nhancer 2.5, driver 185, .NetFrames 3.5

Thanks in advance ;)

Do you have your AA turned on in your video card?

I have it off in the Sim, and I have it on in the Nhancer profile!

I also use NHancer and find that with the AA OFF in FS9 I get jaggies.  Enable it in game, as well as NHancer takes them away.  Whether this should be the case or not, my FS9 experience is now perfect.

do not enable in-game AA as that overrides the video card and sets the DX flag to the API directly

In your FS9 graphics settings.. I think its the Hardware tab as I recall

Check in: Render to Texture, Transform and Lighting
UNCHECK AA,
Set to Trillinear Filtering
Mip Quality 4 (note set to 4 for now.. you can try higher later)
Hardware Lights 8
Global Texture Slider 100%

This issue may very well be becuase the user is not setting up Nhancer correctly and there are reported issues with FS9 and Nhamcer which deal directly with no AA control

In Nhancer, do NOT set up a new profile.. delete that

In the menu at the top, OPTIONS menu.. make sure to select

Thanks for the reply Nick!! But unfortunately when I follow those steps my FS9 freezes up on start up or shortly after! Do you think I should try creating another profile? Perhaps that might disable whatever is messing up the settings?

Try creating another profile

Its possible there is some kind of issue with the latest drivers/Nhancer

I do not use FS9 and have not in years so I have no basis to test the problem here

Thanks Nick! I've had some success....The only way the profile works is by activating it after I've started the Sim. Then I can go to the Nhancer 'shadow profile' and unchecked the "Enhance in-game AA setting" on both the Global and profile settings. The only draw back is that I'm unable to access the FS top menu after that is done? If I want to go to 'Aircraft fuel and payload' for example it will not access it? Any other suggestions as to what the reason for that might be?
