Very dissapointed with Burnout Paradise PC.

Postby 87HondaShadow » Sat Feb 07, 2009 9:54 pm

I already have Burnout paradise for PS3, but i figured id try the PC demo. Well, as it turns out, what they claimed was wrong. I followed Burnout Paradise from the begining, both PC and console version, and was excited when both of them came out. When PC version was announced, Criterion said '...We are working to make Paradise PC work for everyones computer...'. That is not true for me. I get about 2-5 FPS while driving, and 1 or less while screwing around in the menu. WHat can i do to get better (however slight) performance?

(sorry im complaining here, Criterion closed their forum)

I had this problem in one of my games and it turned out to be my video drivers. See if that is your problem first. :)

What are hardware are you running and what graphics settings are you trying to run it on? While they say it is for everyone's PC, you can't expect it to run well on slow, under powered or outdated PCs without sacrifice.

You'll struggle getting frames with that card it's too old for modern games 2-5 fps is about right.
