How to get rid of nwiz?

I got nwiz with the 180.48 driver.  I don't see nwiz in my spybot startup menu or anywhere else but in msconfig and I can only keep it deselected in msconfig if I use the selective startup option.  Does anyone know how to permantly get rid of this at startup?

I just delete those registry keys?

Edit:  Nothing in current user registry, don't see nwiz in the 2nd folder but there are nVidia keys:

NvCplDaemon
NvMediaCenter

hmmmmmm

gettin tricky are they

It should be listed on the opposite side when you open one of the RUN folders for each of the keys I posted

If not do a registry search

Making sure the top of the tree (my computer) is highlighted, EDIT - FIND - type nwiz and click FIND NOW but be aware... just because something comes up does not mean its the right value to delete and there can be other results not related to nwiz but simply words with the letters nwiz in them

Each time the term is found and after you look it over you can continie to the next instance by hitting F3 till the FINISHED SEARCHING appears

Usually you don't want to screw with driver stuff, but I guess it would be useful to Google it and look around, I personally would recommend seeing if it's been removed by the new driver, in other words, check the change logs.

Agreed.  Normally I don't mess with driver processes but nwiz I think is extra fluff nVidia puts there...for what reason I don't know.

Found something:

Shared Tools/MSConfig/startupreg/nwiz

There are 5 keys:

command
hkey
inimapping
item
key

Haven't screwed with anything yet.

nwiz is only needed for multimonitor support in multiple profiles

I also delete it as I have no need for it.
