I was used to this with Windows 95, Millennium  and XP, but today I got it with Vista. I though it was a thing of the past................well, you live and learn. :-?

I got it once on my PC, and that was because it was gettin' pretty hot.
However, my laptop is a different story. The week after i got it, BSOD.
It has had so many, the Harddrive is junk, and i need to get a new one.
(i hardly ever load either of them down)

My only problem with Vista so far is trying to get past UAC... I wanted to make Notepad run as an administrator so I can make changes to .cfg and .ini files for games, but UAC won't let me to jack in the windows folder...

Ive gotten a bunch of em with vista, turns out that it's always ether:
a. The drivers: update all your drivers frequently
b. bad RAM: bad ram causes a lot of issues with the system
c. BIOS is screwed up: flash your bios and make sure everything is set properly.

Just turn it off, control panel, user accounts, down the bottom of the page.
