Should I be using it, or not? And if I should be, how should it be set up?

Thanks,
Andy

Well, if you read and follow Nick's Windows optimization protocol, and you should, then CCleaner is supposed to be unnecessary.  Now for the part I'm probably going to get in trouble for: :-[

I've not read one single negative thing about CCleaner.  Every place I go to on the web has nothing but praise for it.  And I use it.  It get's rid of all kinds of, well, crap.  It's easy to use, doesn't run unless you tell it to.

Don't tell Nick I said this! ;D

I've been using it for quite a while and it's never given me any problems. I just don't know if it's a good idea to be using it after setting up my system like Nick said to.

I only use it about once a week, just to make sure there aren't any unneeded files where there may be.

Nick, what's your take in this?

Well, if you read and follow Nick's Windows optimization protocol, and you should

I do
