All of a sudden, a part of my email has now stopped working as it had been. I use Outlook Express and until today have never had a problem with it, though I don't actually think that the program is at fault, but it is a starting point. When ever I have wanted to email pictures, I have always right clicked, selected send by email. A window then comes up asking if I want to leave the picture in its original size or send a smaller version. I have always used this way because of the automatic shrinking of picture size from MB's to Kb'. Now when I do this, I get the shrink question, select and then (normally Outlook Express starts and my picture/s are of a normal email size attached and ready to send) I get the following

"No profiles have been created. To create a new profile, use the mail icon in the control panel"

When I do this, it then links any image selected in the above manner to Outlook and not Outlook Express. The only thing that has changed in the last few days is that Java undated itself. Has anyone an idea, if I want to send a picture I first have to manually shrink it via Paint Shop first.

Thanks
Matt

Mark, I got a window saying that Java needed to be updated and click "OK" :-/ that is all I can tell you.

Okay in the Firefox Tools section go to Content and make sure the Enable Java button ISN'T ticked. That might solve the problem. The latest version of Java is causing LOTS of errors with various XP apps that use the net. As soon as I come up with a solution I'll post it. Hopefully this'll see you right, seems to me that Outlook is best avoided for the meantime ;)

Problem solved. As usual, for unknown reasons Windows decided to deselect a setting that is nicely buried in the last place you look........Still can't complain, at least Bill gave us a world wide standard ;D
