problem with BF2

BF2 loads, but about 2 seconds in it minises itself to the taskbar, which can be brought back up. From here on in it continues to load up until the "initiating satelite" bit (BF2 players will understand what i mean ;))  I then get to the above screen, lacking any colours and graphics. I have rebooted twice, and each time, i get the same error at the same time. Anyone know how to resolve this, i didnt have this colour problem last time i used BF2. Help much appreciated, sorry for posting for help on Christmas eve! ;) ;)

Cheers, FsNovice

update your drivers? Did you mess with anything in the game folders itself?
