I was going through a bunch of game titles I have and I ran across Pacific Fighters. I haven't played it in a long time. I'm enjoying CFS2 alot lately. Right now, I'm revamping all my stock missions to be as historically accurate as possible. But I digress....I was wondering is anyone still playing Pacific Fighters? If so, what about it keeps you playing? I was thinking about giving it another whirl, but I'm hesitating recalling the reasons why I unloaded it in the first place.

I have Pacific Fighters as well, but I'm not too eager to sit out a flight of 40 minutes just to dogfight four A6Ms.
What I want to say is: PF is a good sim - apart from the fact that it's utterly boring due to flying over water, water, water...

I don't really remember, but doesn't it have a warp feature?

I have IL2 1946 which includes Pacific Fighters. It does have a warp feature. Although I guess that's kinda cheating. :)

Umm...no.
Only time acceleration, but it still takes awfully long to meet some opponents.

That's right, it's an acceleration, not a warp.

I remember that. You start the time acceleration and then you can take a bathroom break, or something. When you get back, then you start the battle.
