ATi CCC not working on boot

Postby born_2_fly » Wed Jan 17, 2007 4:36 pm

Sorry for the SPAM guys  :-?

But after reformatting my HD, I can't get any of the recent Catalyst Control Centers to work.

On ATi's support page it mentions that any CCC drivers before 5.4 will work with .NET Framework 2.0 (which I have installed) But I really don't want to go too far back. The strange thing is that on my old setup, I had both .NET 1.1 and 2.0 installed, and could always get the most recent drivers...?

If anyone knows the most recent drivers that do work with 2.2, could they let me know?

Cheers  :D

Sorry eno I can't seem to find it anywhere?  :-/

They don't appear to even have a FAQ page, and when I searched for it, it only brought up a FAQ page about their trade in programme...

Delete CCC and get ATI tray tools. It's pretty much like the CCC but it loads faster, and has VASTLY more features like fan control, voltage control, Image quality control, optimizations, memory latencies, and more...

Anyway, .NET 1.1 and 2.0 are independant programs, and yes, it is best to have BOTH installed.

Thanks for the links eno. But unfortunatly for me, only the middle one applies, and that doesn't provide an actual fix!

Thanks Conquizdor also, but a good friend once told me never to use hacked drivers. And I think he was right  ;)

It's not hacked drivers, it's just a whole new driver controller (Which allows OPTIONAL hacks and tweaks). Hell, in one of your good friends tutorials, he even recommended using ATT.

I think it all depends on the situation. But I will look into ATT again, maybe some of the newer releases will have more functions.... :D

Cheers,
