Madden NFL 07 game specs question

Postby BFMF » Mon Dec 25, 2006 9:39 am

One of my buddies is trying to get me into getting a football game for the PC, so I looked at the Madden NFL '07 game. The only question is the hardware requirements. It requires an 800 Mhz or faster CPU. My laptop has an AMD 64 Athlon 3200+, so that isn't a problem. The game requires atleast 256MB of ram. I've got 512. Not the best, but it's more than required. The only other thing that i'm questioning is the graphics requirement. It says it requires a video card with 64 MB or more memory, and either an ATI Radeon 8500 or greater chipset, or atleast an Nvidia Geforce 3. My laptop has an ATI Mobility Radeon Xpress 200 series video card. I'm not too familiar with laptop graphics, or ATI cards, but would this be enough? Would I be able to play this game on my laptop, or should I wait untill I get home back to my desktop computer?

You could probably play it on that lappy, but it wouldn't look Fantastic. It will run most likely, but wont be very fun to watch stutter action.... You could just try it, see what it does, if it doesnt work use it on the desktop!
