I am trying to reinstall Silent Hunter 3 game. I have reinstalled this game 4 times before. When I try to install SH3, It stops  at the end when the InstallShield Wizard is publishing product information, and says setup was interrupted exit and try to install later. I did run the event viewer and it showed SH3 fialed, Source: Msilnstaller, Event ID 11708.....I tried searching for both these and couldnt find anything that helped.
I cannot also install FSX it does the same thing also.
But  I can install other games.
If anyone knows what I could try next, I have tried defraging, searching all my computer and registry for anything relating to SH3 and removing from my computer . I run Ccleaner, Windows Installer Clean Up , Tried to install to a different folder, also tried copying the disk to desktop and tryed to install, same thing. Installed Microsoft updates, I install a new DVD/CD-RW drive also to see if that was the problem.
I am not running antivirus software in the background. I have tried Safe mode and Normal startup.I am using Ultimatedefrag V 1.32

First, are you using a legitimate copy of the the games? If not, that could be your problem...If not, how much free space do you have on the hard disk? That's all I can tell, someone with more experience should drop by in the next few minutes so expect a better response from them ;)

I do own a real copy of the software. And I have about 38 gigs left on the HD, I can install other software with this amount. I have trouble only with SH3 and FSX, they will not install.
I have installed Silent Hunter3 4 times already, and FSX I cannot install at all.
I would be thankful if anyone could help me with this problem.

I would ask on Ubisoft forums.

If you got a scratched up disk it could cause install errors.
