WOW! Is all I can say WOW!!!

Bought it on the first when it came out, and have been playing since. I'm 75% done, and its just crazy. Not so sure if I like the reoccuring theme of the street racer running away from his problems, but I do like the fact that there is a real story line now, not just a few crappy cut sceenes.

Over all its amazing. They brought back drift BIG +++ but what happened to drag? I mean the street racing world is about 70% built off drag racing. However the canyon duel is cool stuff too. And I must say that the car selection is superb. Finally a game with a good balance of the right cars and parts.

Cheers

i'm sorry but this game is far too repetitive and easy for my liking.
Theres no depth to the racing side. I love games where I can spend hours tuning my car to drive absolutly perfectly to my style. This has some nice graphics and for the first few hours its ok. But unless your a really big fan of making a car look flashy its not that good a game.
Also its too slow. I find myself spending more time taking in the scenery during the races rather than having to worry about corners and such.

I'll stick to F1 games.

Well the NFS series was never suppost to be a Gran Turismo type game. It was suppost to be an arcade game, and Carbon only builds on that fact. But they did make some vast improvements onlike.

And yes the fact that you race the same damn track 6 times in a row does get to be a tad bit boring.

Only problems I've had with carbon is the controls.... They refuse to save so every time I quit I gotta reset em.... I do hope they are coming out with another NFS game soon or an expansion  ;D 44% complete in 6 hours play, seems short but overal its good! Not Nearly as long as NFSMW though..... Overal, I love the muscle cars  :o  ;D

Gunny, Gimme a charger!
