Another BF2 problem

Postby Mictheslik » Wed Aug 16, 2006 8:32 am

BF2 has worked fine for me until now, when I tried to play this afternoon (I havent been on it for a few weeks) It just loads a black screen and crashes back to the desktop. All my drivers are up to date......any ideas?

Youve found the joys of EA!

Download the latest patch 1.3 unless 1.4 has been relased

I have had this problem a few times. Just try a different map. You should be good then.

I have 1.3, and the problem is when I actually start the game, not when I load a map.

I'm reinstalling as we speak, and also downloading the full patch to 1.3 as I cant find the earlier ones.

What they drop support for their product after 4 days, and force you to buy the latest one.

cheers

I'll pass on that one thank you. BF2 is good enough, and they havent really sold me on getting BF2142, heck I'm not even sure if I want to get BF2 Special forces, Euro force, or Armored Furey.

However for some reason every time MS releases a beta I'm all over it.
