a small problem here...

Postby F-16Viper » Mon Jun 19, 2006 5:24 pm

hey everyone, i took my shot, but it took it at 600x800, and its 300k... is there any way that i can make the weight smaller, without shrinking it so it will still qualify?

thanks :P

Use Infranview, but play with the quality slider so it's 100k and has an acceptable quality....

23x556

ha try that for regular size :P

yep, irfranview does the trick, most scenery shots can get around 70-80% on the slider, and aircraft get 85-90%.

but doing a sunset with a colorful jet (eg, zip air, or the Spirit MD80 10th aniv.) leaving chicago, takes a nice toll on the picture, the slider was at 20%. the picture basically isn't worth it if you've gone below 60%. lines and discoloration appear, destroying the picture.
