Hey,

my cd drive doesnt like recognising some disks- like FS CD 1 is not recognised, but disks 2-4 are! Return to Castle Wolfenstein disk 1 is recognised, but not disk 2!

Any ideas, please?

Ideas would be nice, my 2 BenQs do the same thing, one may read/write cds and dvds, and one may not. Sometimes they will read on DVDs, and other days only CDs

I have updated drivers and firmware and tried everything but Im at a lost, like I said they decide when they will function properly lol. And I can't seem to get any helpful suggestions from BenQ.

Needless to say I won't buy from them again, all I wanted was some good quaility drives with a reputation, all I got was a pain in the ass that you have to beg to do something with, if i wanted that I would get re-married LMAO!!
