Hi all,
I wasn't too sure where to put this question, but seeming as my question consisted of editing screenshots, I thought it would be somehwat appropriate. ;)

Anyway, I was just wondering - is there a little trick (or certian program) that one can use to "extract" an aircraft from a screenshot? For instance, if I wanted to put an aircraft  in one of my screenshots onto a photo background for an edit, is there a way I could neatly cut the aircraft from the rest of the screenshot? I use Photoshop CS to "cut an aircraft from an image, but I just can't seem able to do it well with the tools provided....is there another way of cutting the aircraft from a screenshot or another program which would do the job better?

Thanks, and sorry if the question seems a little vague ;)

i use the poly laso tool, be verry patient and you can get some good outlines. PS is the best program out there, (my opinion) and as far as i know there are none that will just extract the plane for you. So be patient, be precise, and practice.

I use Photoshop CS2...Great software...I can finally use the resize shortcut...I much prefer it than hitting my mouse everytime...I use the Magenetic Lasso Tool for any extractions... ;) ;)

you can get the shot of the plane on a contrasting background, then load up the picture in

microsoft photo editor
and go onto
tools\set transparent colour

then choose the background and set (within x%) bar to the highest number, then keep doing this for a bit
