hey guys,

I have been trying to edit a shot with Infranview and some other editing tools, BUT HOW DO YOU KEEP IT WITHIN 100K???? I can't get it!!!! Once I resize it, it's usually 150K or something like that. Can someone help me out?? I know this probably isn't the best spot to post this, but I don't know where else to.

Thanks,

When you save the resized image in JPEG, do you normally see a window on the side that gives you the option of increasing or decreasing the quality? If so, you should set it to about 70-75% [80% at the most]. That should do it.

With Ifranview when you go to save your edit you should be saving in Jpeg format, when offered where to save your file you should see a slider for image quality on the right hand side, turn it down to about 80 this will make your file size smaller without much loss of quality.
