Hallo all,

after my WinXP was damaged beyond repair I had to reinstall everything . (took me a whole day)

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the Windows Messenger? I don't use it and I don't want it to be loaded apon system start. I already tried msconfig and disabeled it, but it reactivates itself.

Open add/remove programs then select add/remove windows components and uncheck Windows Messenger then click next. it'll perofrm some tasks and your done!
