BBC was quoting MS as saying the corporate versions will be available November 06, followed by the home versions now in January 07...

Coperate version?? What would be different between it and the home version?
And, if we need to wait til 07, will that mean the next release would be 09, not 08??

I imagine the corporate (business) versions will be very different to the home editions...

The Corporate version won't be complimented by constant complaining about how Microsoft is the worst company ever like the Home version always is.  I can understand why Microsoft would allow a bit more leeway for Corporations.

I never had any of the "common" issues with Windows XP (home or Pro) like most complain about, so i must chalk that up to lack of common sense by most  ;D ;D ;D

Well the problem is that insted of fixing the problems when they start, people just complain until it magically fixes itself. I have had certain problems with MS (networking stuff, and the Windows firewall getting in my way) but most of these issues have been fixed for XP, and according to microsoft wouln't even be problems to begin with in Vista.

Anyway, I'm not supprised that MS is pushing back the release. The supporting hardware isnt out yet, DX10 isn't even finished yet, not enough people have systems now that could make the jump without some pretty large problems, and busnesses are just starting to really recover (in the US) so they dont want to go spend $100Million on a new OS.

Personally I am going to wate to July of 07 to see how well Vista is accepted, and how much new hardware is going to cost. Then I will consider the jump but for now I happen to like my XP that is emulated to vista.

Cheers
