I recently installed SP2 for XP pro and it has close the ports so that any form of stream media is blocked. I have turned off the firewall and still nothing. >:(

I need to reopen the port(s) so that I can recieve streaming media. Will anyone plz walked me thru the steps required to re-open them.

1: please PLEASE quit using red text, it hurts the eyes.

2: look for a windows media player update called: KB911564, and uninstall. later on you will get the update windows reminder, jsut disable it or ignore it.

So what do you do if you can not uninstall it? If a person uses a link to show a video clip here, I will not be able to see it. Is that update responsible for it?
