LOL!!!!

I remember when users of the Netscape browser used to scoff at IE.  The scoffing ended about 4 years ago.  Lately, it's the Firefox users who are scoffing.  History seems to repeat itself.

Hardly! They're just incorporating the stuff Firefox already has. Tabbed browsing... search bar... improved security... Unless IE7 turns out to be drastically better, I'll stick with Firefox, me thinks ;)

oh believe me, asme here, i downloaded the IE7 beta, and tested it a couple times... nothing firefox doesnt have except for 2 things:
1: the Phishing websites warning
2: the new layout, all the "file, edit, view, etc..." are in a new tab called "tools"

ther is also no more windows flag flying when loading a new page... got annoying...

me, i'll stick with firefox unless something changes to my faovr :P

That doesn't suprise me.  But considering what occurred with IE and Navigator, the real test will be how things pan out with IE8 and the Firefox installation at that future time.

Until M$ comes out with a browser that I can say into my mic "find me ...." and it gets me the best result. Then I really dont care.

I only still have IE on my comp for when I have to update my McAfee subscription

I only use IE for Windows Update.  Or for those obsure Japanese sites that require IE for thier embedded media players.

As DCunning said, IE7 is no biggie; they're just catching up.  IE8 and Firefox will be interesting, assuming the former comes out this decade.
