Video Etiding

Postby cableguy » Tue Dec 20, 2005 1:02 am

I have been trying to make a game video, i have FRAPS, all i need now is a program that i can use to split videos, cut out the parts that i need, and put them together, i tried using Windows Movie Maker, but i couldnt figure out how to split videos, and cut them out.  What i need is an easy to use program, for beginners, i tried using Ulead Video Creator, but it is too complicated for me.  anyone have any suggestions??

I Movie Maker play a video so you see it play in the preview pane. One of the buttons at the bottom of the preview window on the right in a Split button. Click that and the video will be split in half at the current place in the video playback.

By doing this you can chop bits out of the movie and put little bits into other places.

My personal preference (having used everything from Windows Movie Maker all the way up to Sony Vegas) is Pinnacle Studio....all the functionality I need for just under $100.  Can't go wrong!
