Firefox Bookmarks

Postby Mobius » Wed Oct 19, 2005 4:19 pm

Hey, I'm going to be switching over to my new SATA hard drives soon and I was wondering if anyone knew a way to find and save my list of bookmarks so I can transfer them over.

Thanks All.... ;D ;D ;)

C:\Documents and Settings\[Your log-on name]\Application data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

It should be in there, just look which folder is biggest if there are multiple ones.

Note: "Application data" is hidden by default.

So, by definition, your in love with security flaws and like pop ups?

Microsoft's internet explorer has had its time. More and more exploits are being discovered and abused at an ever increasing rate.
I've seen posts on this very forum praising other browsers and even tried a few, but always ended up going back to IE. That was untill I discovered Mozilla firefox.
Faster, more customizable and safer. With firefox popups, tracing cookies, browser related spyware\adware are a thing of the past.

Sorry, You may well "lurve" I.E. - "lurve" is blind mate, I.E. is not the browser you should use.  ;)

The latter appear to be history since SP2.

True. I'm still on IE with Windows XP + SP2 and I don't often get spyware and popups are almost non-existant. Google toolbar helps a lot with that.

um... write them down? ;D  Why not just grab a piece of paper, and write it down!  That is what paper is for after all.
