Battlefield 2 username?

I created a Battlefield 2 username and account, and have been playing very well and earned alot of points and rank. I need to know if it is possible to change usernames without making a new account, I dont want to start over. Is it possible?

Well, I have two usernames on one account.
Sign into your GameSpy account and on here you can change usernames. I am not at home or I would give you some particulars.
The new patch is suppose to address this issue, among many others.
