Cappin' Dinos?

Postby Scorpiоn » Wed Aug 10, 2005 4:43 am

I've always loved games where you could shoot Dinosaurs.  Dino Crisis (1 & 2) were, in my opinon, some of the most memorable games I've played.  It doesn't seem to be too popular of a genre though.  Anyone know of any?

Don't tell me King Kong either, if there's one animal I hate in this world, it's a monkey! >:( Not quite sure why though.  They're just so ugly!  And annoying...  And uncool... ::) :P

Either Turok or Trespasser.

I remember Trespasser. It was the first game to have physics in it.  Of course, that never got popular until Half Life 2.

Turok is awesome. I used to play it on n64.

I read the Gamespot reviews for those games, and it seems the one with good graphics aren't all that fun.  Meh.  'Twas worth a shot.

You mean trespasser right. Yeah, the gameplay was bad. But the gfx was good for its time. It also had physics, though its implenmentation was questionable. Its a Doom3 of its time.

I remember they also made some jurrasic park games for PC's and consoles. I never played them, but if you really want to hunt dinosaurs, you could give them a try.

There was one a few years ago that was a "Deer Hunter" type game, only you hunted dinosaurs. It was pretty cool for a hunting game. I think it was called Carnivores.
